About Us
Created & Assembled In Ballarat.
Kitchen Table Watches began exactly where the name says: at a kitchen table.
My father has been a passionate watch collector for years. What started as a hobby—modifying Seiko watches with new bands, dials, and hands—grew into something bigger. Small changes transformed each timepiece, and soon he was sourcing parts to build watches of his own. That curiosity turned into a genuine passion for horology, and five years later, it's still where every one of our watches begins.
What We Make
Every watch we sell is hand-assembled using OEM and aftermarket parts, built on trustworthy Seiko and Miyota movements. Our components come from the same trusted sources that power affordable brand-name and microbrand watches worldwide—so you're getting real quality without the markup of a big name on the dial.
Each piece carries our logo as a mark of that craftsmanship. If a design strikes a chord with enough people, we'll occasionally craft a small limited run.
How We Grow
We don't spend money on professional photography, marketing, or fancy packaging—so we can put that value back into the watch itself, not the presentation around it. Most of our customers find us through word of mouth, and we're proud of that.
What You See Is What You Get
The watch pictured is the exact watch you'll receive. Our designs range from dressy to quirky, and we know they won't be for everyone—we're okay with that. If you love a design but want a small change, like the bracelet or hands, reach out through our contact form. We're always happy to talk it through.
Our Mission
To create affordable, reliable, and unique watches—and put them in the hands of people who'll genuinely enjoy wearing them.
