Warranty & Care

At Kitchen Table Watches, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of every timepiece we curate. Our watches are designed to be timeless companions, and we’re committed to ensuring your satisfaction. That’s why every watch purchased from kitchentablewatches.com comes with a 12 month Limited Warranty against manufacturing defects, starting from the date of purchase.

What’s Covered:

Our Warranty covers:

Manufacturing Defects: Issues with the watch movement, hands, dial, or case that are due to manufacturing faults (e.g., a malfunctioning movement or defective clasp).

Internal Components: Failures in the internal mechanisms that prevent the watch from functioning as intended, such as inaccurate timekeeping or a non-working date window.

What’s Not Covered:

The warranty does not cover:

Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, dents, or discoloration of the case, strap, or crystal due to regular use.

Accidental Damage: Damage from drops, impacts, water exposure beyond the watch’s stated water resistance, or misuse.

Straps and Accessories: Damage to leather, fabric, or metal straps due to wear, moisture, or improper care.

Unauthorized Repairs: Issues arising from repairs or modifications by third parties not authorized by Kitchen Table Watches.

Warranty Conditions:

The warranty applies only to watches purchased directly from kitchentablewatches.com.

Proof of purchase (e.g., order confirmation email or receipt) is required to process a warranty claim.

The warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

We reserve the right to determine whether a defect is covered under this warranty after inspection.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:

If you believe your watch is eligible for a warranty claim, follow these steps:

Contact Us: Using the contact page with your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or a short video showing the defect.

Ship the Watch: If approved, we’ll provide a return shipping address. Package your watch securely and include a copy of your proof of purchase.

Inspection and Resolution: Once received, we’ll inspect the watch. If the issue is covered, we’ll repair or replace the watch free of charge. If the issue isn’t covered, we’ll notify you with repair options (if available) and associated costs.

Return Shipping: We’ll cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replaced watch back to you.

Care Tips to Extend Your Watch’s Life:

To keep your Kitchen Table Watch in top condition:

Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures, magnets, or chemicals.

For water-resistant watches, ensure the crown is fully secured before exposure to water, and avoid hot showers or saunas.

Clean your watch with a soft, dry cloth to remove dirt or sweat.

Store your watch in a cool, dry place when not in use.

How to Set Your New Watch

How do I set the time and date on a watch with the Seiko NH35 & NH36 movement?

  1. Pull the crown out to the first position. This allows you to set the date.
  2. Turn the crown to set the desired date. Rotate clockwise to change the date.
  3. Pull the crown out to the second position. This stops the seconds hand, allowing for precise time setting (hacking function).
  4. Turn the crown to set the desired time. Rotate clockwise or counter clockwise to move the hour and minute hands.
  5. Push the crown back in and wind to lock in place and start the movement. The seconds hand will resume moving, and your time is set.

How Do I Adjust My Bracelet

How do I adjust my bracelet?

If you find your watch bracelet needs a little adjustment, we recommend you take your watch to a reputable jeweller, quite often they will adjust a bracelet for free or a very small fee.

If you want to do it yourself, there are many instructional videos on YouTube. Click here to watch a tutorial courtesy of STRAPIFY.
